Dear God,
Thank you for teaching me to trust you more and more. I love you.
Sometimes when I pray for people to be healed and I don't see anything happen, I wonder why you don't choose to heal them, but I'm convinced your will is perfect. Sometimes when disaster strikes and victimizes the innocent, I question how that is fair, but I trust that your rage is just. Sometimes, when women are raped and children are beat and the disabled are neglected, I ask why You haven't chosen to soften the hearts of the raper, the abuser, the neglecter, but I am aware that this world is not of You. Sometimes, when I'm frustrated and broken-hearted, I ponder why I'm not stronger if you are in me, but I assured that I'm growing according to your will.
Thank you for moving bones and taking fevers, Healer. Thank you for your protection and provision, Shepard. Thank you for moving your Spirit to revive the sinful and hopeless, Redeemer. Thank you for the fires you light in my spirit and the freedom you've implanted in my heart, Restorer.
I'm imperfect, this world is broken, things happen that shouldn't, people die broken BUT you live in me, your will is perfect, the whole world is in your hands and your mercy is great. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Have your way, Father!
Your daughter,
Elisa
